Here's what's happening at More For Your Cup...

Our Behmor 1600 home coffee roasters are on the way. We compared the Behmor against other home roasters like the iRoast and the Hotttop. The capacity of the i-Roast is 5.3 ounces, and it's MSRP is $199. The Hottop can roast up to 9 ounces, and MSRP starts at $720. The Behmor 1600's capacity is one pound, and costs only $299. We feel that all things considered, the Behmor is the best value for the money. The Behmor 1600 will be available by Wednesday here at More For Your Cup.

We've been busy sampling new teas, and we've just added Organic 2nd Flush Darjeeling (1oz pkg), Four Seasons Spring oolong (2oz pkg), and Organic Emerald Spring Green(1.5oz pkg) teas. The Four Seasons Spring is very similar to Iron Goddess of Mercy. The leaves are tightly rolled, with a lighter roast than Iron Goddess. It's an excellent oolong, and a great companion to our tea lineup. We've carried the Emerald Spring Green in the past, and it's a great alternative to other scented greens that we carry, such as Jasmine Green and Raspberry Green.

For those of you who have enjoyed our Organic Dragon Well green tea, we want you to know that we've received information that there may be some quality issues on future harvests. Word is that China has experienced some less than ideal weather conditions (along with frost) which may result in an inferior product this year. We still have a limited supply of Organic Dragon Well in stock, so if you're looking for a great quality green tea, get it while you can.

I apologize for not updating as often as I should. Much is happening in the coffee and tea industry, and we are trying to stay one step ahead by continuing to bring you the highest quality products at More For Your Cup.

After a great deal of thought and planning, we have decided to offer our customers a way to have the freshest coffee possible. In many instances, it could be fresher than what's being brewed in local coffee shops. Home coffee roasting is something that just about anyone can do, and with good quality green coffee beans, you could have some of the best coffee in town. Besides, green coffee is much less expensive than coffee that's already roasted.

We expect our first shipment of Behmor 1600 Home Coffee Roasters to arrive in early March. We're very excited to be able to offer this roaster to our customers. Many home roasters will only handle a few ounces of coffee beans at a time. The Behmor 1600 has a one pound capacity, which means you won't have to roast as often.

Green, unroasted coffee beans should be available around the time we receive our roasters. Coffees we are looking at are Genuine Antigua Guatemala, Brazil Santos, and Washed Ethiopia Yirgacheffe. Look for more details over the next two to three weeks online at More For Your Cup.
